The SwitchBot Bot lets you retrofit all existing appliances or light switches in your home, instead of replacing them. It's easy to set up - just tear off the 3M sticker and install it in 3 seconds. Note: Before the first use, please remove the plastic battery isolation tab from the built-in CR2 battery.

Attach the Bot near a switch or button with no tools required - just tape it next to the button or switch. Then, tag the icon in the SwitchBot App to turn the switch or button ON/OFF. The Bot can push or pull the switch, with the option to use an Add-on for additional functionality.

Automate your home with Schedules. Place the Bot on a coffee machine or light switch and set a schedule to automatically turn it on or off. You can also repeat an action at a certain interval, though this feature accelerates battery consumption and wears out the Bot's arm. (Reach our team for a Beta version of this feature via Feedback in the App.)

The SwitchBot Bot can turn any "dumb" appliance into a smart one, working with most rocker switches and one-way buttons. It utilizes extreme power-saving BLE technology, allowing up to 600 days of use on a replaceable battery.

For selected locations, you can set the Bot to the Sunrise/Sunset mode, automatically returning the appliance to a bright room after you get home in the evening.

The SwitchBot Bot is compatible with most rocker buttons and one-way switches, but not toggle switches or touch screen buttons. It may not work with overly hard or aged buttons - if you have any compatibility concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Take control of your SwitchBot Bot in more ways. With the addition of the SwitchBot Hub Mini or SwitchBot Hub2 (sold separately), you can control your Bot from 1000 miles away via the SwitchBot App. The SwitchBot Remote (also sold separately) allows you to turn devices on and off without needing your phone, and voice control is possible with a SwitchBot Hub and Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri, or SmartThings.

SwitchBot Bot is now supported via Matter when using the SwitchBot Hub2 (sold separately), which in turn helps make your device compatible with HomeKit. This allows you to add the SwitchBot Bot to Apple Home for an even better smart home experience.

A few tips for using the SwitchBot Bot: Ensure the surface has at least 1cm (0.4 inches) of space for the sticker, and let it sit for 24 hours after installation. When using the Add-on, the surface should be clean, flat, and have enough room. The Bot clicks down with a force strong enough for most switches, but still gentle enough not to break them. The maximum swing angle of the SwitchBot is 135 degrees, so make sure the Bot is placed where the arm can reach the switch or button.
